Easter at ixchel

Celebrate Easter on the King’s Road with a long, relaxed lunch at Ixchel. On Easter Sunday, our signature roast menu takes centre stage. From slow-braised lamb shank to half grilled chicken adobado, each main is served with all the trimmings, crispy potatoes, roasted vegetables, queso fundido, and mini corn jalapeño bread.

For the table, our 450g T-bone steak with chilli and coriander marinade is made to share. We’re also open on Bank Holiday Monday, so you can make the most of the long weekend. Gather your favourites, settle in, and celebrate Easter at Ixchel.

Antes de las Cinco

Discover Antes de las Cinco, a relaxed afternoon moment inspired by the vibrant flavours of Mexico. Available Tuesday to Friday, 3–5pm, enjoy a selection of £5 tacos and quesadillas.

Choose from dishes including the Ensenada Taco with Mexican lager batter, pickled cucumber and carrot, and scotch bonnet crema; Prawn Adobado Quesadilla with refried beans, molcajete sauce and pickled red onion; and Pork Rib Taco with smoky chilli glaze, avocado purée and pickled radish.

Pair your food with a £8 Tommy’s Margarita made with Tapatio Blanco tequila, lime juice and organic agave.

Luna y Fuego – Live Music Every Thursday & Friday

Step into the world of Luna y Fuego, Ixchel’s new Thursday & Friday night series celebrating the rhythm and soul of modern Mexico. Inspired by our namesake - Ixchel, the Mayan goddess of the moon - these nights bring the heat to the heart of Chelsea.

Each week from 8pm, live percussionists, vocalists, and DJs bring the signature sounds of Mexico  to our dining room. Think sultry beats, warm mezcal, bold flavours, and an unmistakable late-night energy.

The moon rises. The fire ignites. Thursdays & Fridays at Ixchel will never be the same.

TACOS WITH FRIENDS X GUACAMOLES

Tacos with Friends continues at Ixchel this February and March with a special collaboration from Manolo de la Torre, aka Taco Manny, the chef behind Peckham’s cult favourite Guacamoles. Known for his uncompromising, hand pressed tacos and deeply rooted approach to Mexican street food, Manny joins Head Chef Ximena Gayosso Gonzalez for an exclusive kitchen takeover each Tuesday.

Together, they present a limited edition taco inspired by mariscos a la Veracruzana, a nostalgic nod to Manny’s home state and the flavours of his childhood. Prawns are simmered in a spiced tomato and olive sauce, served on warm tortillas with Ixchel’s house salsas. Just 20 portions are available each evening, making it a rare, one night a week special.

Available Tuesdays from 17th February to 31st March, book your table and taste a little piece of Veracruz, only at Ixchel.

March nights at Ixchel are driven by rhythm, flavour and atmosphere. As tacos hit the table and cocktails start flowing, our DJs set the tone with carefully curated sounds, warm, uplifting and effortlessly stylish.

It’s all about enjoying great music alongside bold Mexican flavours, whether you’re easing into the evening or letting the night unfold.

Join us every Friday and Saturday throughout March for DJ-led evenings that carry you from dinner into the late night.

Join us at Ixchel for a flavour-packed lunch experience. Our new set menu includes a choice from a selection of vibrant small plates followed by a main dish,  featuring favourites like our renowned Short Rib Quesadilla, Rock Shrimp Tempura and Handpicked White Crab Meat Tostada.
